Facility Problem:
The second bank of divider tabs is hidden behind the first bank of divider tabs in this facility’s patient chart divider sets.

Nursing wished to quickly view and access all chart divider tabs without having to search behind the first bank of tabs. The staff called FIRST for assistance in solving this problem.

FIRST Solution:
FIRST developed its Extended Tab Dividers to remedy this problem.

The tabs in the second bank of our Extended Tab Dividers extend a full 1/2” beyond the first bank of tabs. This makes all tabs in the first and second banks completely visible and easy to access within the chart. Tab titles do not overlay. Our Extended Tab Dividers are constructed of durable 16 gauge polyethylene and are pre-punched to fit 2, 3 and 5-ring side or top-opening ringbinder charts.
